ADRIANA RAMIREZ

Softball Catching, Infield, and Hitting Coach

Adriana, a 2-time MVP at South Pasadena High School, went on to become a back-to-back State Champion at Mt. San Antonio College. At McNeese State University, she earned two Conference Championships and made two NCAA D1 WCWS Regional appearances. She holds a Bachelor's in General Studies and a Master's in Criminal Justice. After playing, Adriana became a student manager at McNeese, helping the team reach another NCAA Regional. She also coached Ruthless-16u travel ball in 2020 and is dedicated to helping young athletes develop on and off the field.

KILEY KRAFT

Softball Pitching Coach

Kiley Kraft, an All-South Coast Conference Second Team pitcher for Pasadena City College, has transferred to NCAA Division III Whittier College. At PCC, she finished fifth in the conference with a 1.98 ERA and led the team with an 11-7 record over 109.2 innings. As a freshman, she earned an All-SCC honorable mention, leading the team in victories (12), ERA (3.13), innings (125.1), and strikeouts (56). Over her career, she recorded 23 victories and 21 complete games, with a career WHIP of 1.31. Kiley will pitch for Whittier College in the 2024 season under head coach Trisha Senyo.

REBECCA BARBER

Softball Pitching Coach

Rebecca, a recent graduate of Whittier College with a B.A. in Kinesiology, played softball for her alma mater and currently serves as an Assistant Coach for the California Panthers Premier '07 team. With over 15 years of experience in the sport, Rebecca has thrown multiple no-hitters since the age of 10 and was a 4-time All-Star. She played travel ball for top organizations such as Team Smith, USA Athletics, Nemesis Elite, Artesia Punishers, and Cal A’s, excelling as both a pitcher and third baseman. Alongside coaching, Rebecca is pursuing her Doctorate in Chiropractics at the Southern California University of Health Sciences and provides private instruction to aspiring softball athletes.

MAYA PALOS

Softball Catching, Infield and Hitting Coach.

Maya Palos, a Monterey Park, CA native, developed her love for softball at a young age, guided by her parents. Initially excelling at 3rd and 1st base in travel ball, she transitioned to catcher in high school at Schurr High School in Montebello, CA, where she became team captain and earned the Coach's Award as a freshman. Maya’s senior year saw her named Almont League MVP and Offensive Player of the Year. After graduating in 2021, she continued her softball career at Whittier College while pursuing a Kinesiology degree with a focus on Occupational Therapy and a Psychology minor. Maya aspires to become an occupational therapist specializing in pediatric care, combining her passion for softball with helping others.

GREG PECK

Director of Softball Operations, and Hitting, Pitching & Fielding Coa

With over 14 years of coaching experience, Coach Greg has had the privilege of coaching both of his daughters and working with players aged 5 to 18. His coaching journey includes leading premier Firecrackers teams to tournament victories, including a top 5 finish at the Colorado Sparkler. As President of West Valley Softball, he helped grow the league to over 320 players and led All-Star teams to notable achievements, including an 8U state championship. Many of his players have advanced to Division 1 and other collegiate programs. In addition to coaching, Coach Greg teaches hitting, pitching, and catching lessons, umpires high school games, and helps athletes navigate the college recruiting process. His coaching philosophy emphasizes building strong fundamentals, fostering a love for the game, and preparing players for success at the next level. “Girls have to feel good to play good. Boys have to play good to feel good.”

I’m a big fan of FitSports in general, & personal trainer Lars Puckler in particular. What age do you start training youth and what are the options?

Our youth training options start at age 7. The most popular class for beginners is Speed, Strength & Agility Level 1, generally for ages 7-11 years. The classes mix speed fundamentals with plyometrics and bodyweight strength training. Other options for this age include youth boxing and Kenpo Karate. All options lead to developing strength, confidence, and discipline in young athletes. Through engaging and challenging workouts, your child will transform not only their physical abilities but also their mindset, helping them grow both inside and outside the gym.

How does Personal Training Work?

Personal Training at FitSport Kinetics is a 1-1 coaching experience designed to identify your fitness goals, provide positive, knowledgable, fitness coaching, and motivate you to achieve the best version of yourself.
