Targeted Training Backed by Science

It all starts with a comprehensive athlete assessment establishing baseline measurements and movement screens. With imbalances, weaknesses and technical issues identified, we create a targeted plan to attack all areas of each athlete’s specific needs. Our training is rooted in educating the athlete, because the best coach is the athlete themselves.

The Assessment

Performance Lab 1-hour assessments are charted, full-body evaluations by our Head Performance Engineer Rayyaan Jameel. We look for and document:

  • Biomechanical execution
  • Kinetic chain activation
  • Muscular imbalances
  • Movement efficiency
  • Elasticity, intent, and power application

Targeted Training Program

We create a targeted plan to address each athlete’s specific needs. This aligns the athlete closer to peak performance while reducing injury risk, eliminating bad habits, and improving movement quality.

  • Neuromuscular precision – recruit the right muscles at the right time with minimal unwanted movement
  • Biomechanical alignment – optimal joint and segment positioning for performance output
  • Perceptual processing – sense, interpret, and adjust movement in real time

Performance Lab Training Options

Tier 1 - 1-on-1

60-minute sessions. Recommended 3 sessions after initial assessment for personalized coaching.

Tier 2 - Small Group

60-minute sessions with up to 2 athletes. Perfect balance of coaching and peer motivation.

Tier 3 - Group

Up to 5 athletes. Economical yet targeted supervision for acclimated athletes.

Rayyaan Jameel is the founder of E.P.I.C. Labs™ (Elevating Performance Innovating Change) and co-founder of C.A.N.I. Athletics™ (Canada), where he has devoted his career to transforming athletes through science-driven performance training.

With decades of hands-on experience and innovation, Coach Jameel has developed a reputation for fast, measurable results in power, speed, agility, strength, and injury prevention. He has served as Director of High Performance for top institutions including Khachatryan Tennis Academy (CA), United Futbol Academy, and 25/8 Sports (GA).

His athlete roster spans youth to professional, including:

  • ATP/WTA tennis players.
  • D1 and MLB draft prospects.
  • Olympic and national-level track athletes.
  • NCAA and CIS football, soccer, and lacrosse players CFL and NHL pros.
  • Professional Moto and Lacrosse athletes.

He holds certifications from AXON, Athletics Canada, and the National Strength Performance Association, specializing in speed, agility, weightlifting, and sports nutrition. His training incorporates NeuroTracker, SWAY Medical, and other tools for cognitive and physical optimization.

After a career-ending injury redirected his athletic path, Coach Jameel committed himself to helping others reach their full potential. He designs custom programs using modern science and data to develop athletes quickly, safely, and effectively.
