AUSTYN WALKER

Catching, Hitting & Fielding Coach

FitSport's Director of Baseball and Softball Operations, Austyn, has 8 years of coaching experience, ranging from youth to collegiate levels, including 3 years with Junior Olympic teams. He is the Head Coach and Founder of West Coast Prospects and serves as the Strength and Conditioning Director for Glendale Community College's football team. Austyn’s baseball accolades include multiple Under Armor nominations, Seattle Stars honors, and professional experience with the Military Baseball Team and Vermont Mallards.

FERNANDO GALLEGOS

Pitching, Hitting, Fielding Coach

Fernando earned an athletic scholarship to Cal State University Dominguez Hills, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education. Over two years at CSUDH, he hit .345 in 80 games and earned DAKTRONICS 2nd Team WEST REGION NCAA Division II and 2nd Team ABCA/All-CCAA Division II honors. Fernando signed with the Chicago White Sox and Toros de Tijuana, spending 4 years in the minors as a pitcher with a 6-4 record and 116 strikeouts in 112 innings. With 10 years of experience training baseball and softball players of all ages, he continues to share his expertise on the game.

JOSH MORALES

Catching, Infield, Hitting Coach

Coach Josh Morales grew up playing baseball in the city of Arcadia where he played at Arcadia High School. After graduating he continued his baseball and academic career in the SLIAC playing Division 3 baseball at Westminster College, MO. Since then, he has experience coaching at the youth level and high school level. He has coached 2 years of travel ball and 3 years at Temple City High School as the Infielders/Hitting coach. He specializes in hitting, fielding, and catching.

BRANDON LOUIE

Pitching Coach

Brandon was born and raised in Pasadena and is a graduate of South Pasadena High School. He played Division 3 baseball as a right-handed pitcher at Claremont McKenna College before graduating in 2020. Brandon has had many years of youth baseball coaching, fielding, and hitting instruction across all youth ages.

JORDAN MARTINEZ

Hitting & Outfield Coach

Introducing Jordan, the diamond virtuoso! A powerhouse on the field, he dominated as a 4-year Varsity Baseball Player at Whittier High School, achieving the prestigious Co-Player of the Year accolade in his final year. Taking his passion to Glendale Community College, he thrived as an outfielder, leaving an indelible mark on the game. Today, Jordan imparts his wisdom as an Outfielder and Hitting Coach, sculpting future baseball stars with finesse and expertise.

OMAR VELOZ

Catching, Hitting, Fielding Coach

Omar Veloz is a skilled baseball coach with a standout playing career. He earned All-League honors at Cathedral High School, played at Fresno State, and helped Mt. SAC reach the State regional finals and win a South Coast Conference title. At Hope International, Veloz posted a .375 batting average, 68 RBIs, and 11 home runs, earning All-GSAC honors and a Gold Glove award in 2023. As a Graduate Assistant Coach at Hope International, he shares his expertise while continuing to pursue his playing career.

ANTHONY KHRAICH

Baseball Coach

Introducing Coach Anthony Khraich, our Baseball Coach with seven years of coaching experience. Anthony’s journey began with two years of high school baseball, followed by five years in personal training and travel ball coaching. He played collegiately on a scholarship at Marymount California University, which enhances his coaching approach. Specializing in hitting, catching, infield, and outfield techniques, Anthony’s philosophy focuses not only on physical skills but also on mental resilience. He teaches players to maintain positivity, use breathing techniques, and develop the mental toughness necessary for success both on and off the field.

ROBBIE PETERS

Pitching Coach

Robbie Peters, a former left-handed pitcher at Fresno State, has spent the last 3 years leading pitching clinics and providing personalized lessons in the Fresno/Clovis area. With experience at the Division 1 level, Robbie saw a nearly 20 mph increase in his pitching speed during his college career. Though he considers himself "self-taught," his dedication led him to train with experts like the Texas Baseball Ranch. Robbie customizes drills to help each player unlock their full potential and achieve success on the field.

LUIS FERNANDEZ

Pitching Coach

Luis Fernandez, a pitcher for Glendale Community College, recently completed his first year in the 2024 season. A four-year varsity starter in high school, Luis earned an honorable mention as a freshman and showcased his versatility by excelling in multiple positions, primarily as a catcher. At Glendale, Luis increased his pitching velocity to 90 mph by incorporating baseball-specific arm routines. As he enters his sophomore year, Luis is committed to mentoring younger players and helping them develop both on and off the field.

EVAN NAHRA

Baseball Coach

Evan Nahra, a passionate baseball player from Pasadena, earned First and Second Team All-Del Rey League honors during his high school years at La Salle College Preparatory. After excelling at the University of San Francisco, he is now entering his sophomore year at PCC, where he was named First Team All-South Coast Conference DH in 2024. In addition to his playing career, Evan has spent two years coaching travel teams, mentoring aspiring athletes. With aspirations of continuing his collegiate career at a four-year university, Evan is dedicated to both improving his skills and guiding the next generation of baseball players.

CRAIG CONKLIN

Manager, Hitting Coach, Professional Scout

Craig Conklin, with a background in both surfing and baseball, has dedicated his career to helping others succeed. After coaching junior college baseball and scouting for MLB for 15 years, he joined the Oakland Athletics' player development team. As the 2023 manager of the Lansing Lugnuts, he focuses on resilience and the mental aspect of the game. Craig’s coaching philosophy is simple: "Have fun, get better, and minimize negative self-talk." He will be available for coaching on 12-9-23, 1-13-24, 1-14-24, and 2-4-24, for athletes aged 14+.

What age do you start training youth and what are the options?

Our youth training options start at age 7. The most popular class for beginners is Speed, Strength & Agility Level 1, generally for ages 7-11 years. The classes mix speed fundamentals with plyometrics and bodyweight strength training. Other options for this age include youth boxing and Kenpo Karate. All options lead to developing strength, confidence, and discipline in young athletes. Through engaging and challenging workouts, your child will transform not only their physical abilities but also their mindset, helping them grow both inside and outside the gym.

How does Personal Training Work?

Personal Training at FitSport Kinetics is a 1-1 coaching experience designed to identify your fitness goals, provide positive, knowledgable, fitness coaching, and motivate you to achieve the best version of yourself. Private training is available in speed, strength & conditioning and jump training.
